A Formula 1 race can be as dangerous as exciting. As the cars on the circuit touch the 200kmph to 300kmph mark the possibility of things spiraling out of control is extremely high. Thus the track needs to have all emergency and safety precautions ready at all times. This is where the Intervention Vehicles with the marshals step in. These vehicles work in tandem with the various marshals and together they are ‘in-charge’ of all activity on the track.

They're responsible for :
1. The safety of the race car drivers
2. Providing quick preventive measure in times of accident or fire
3. Maintaining discipline on the track
4. Sanitising the track when required
5. Preventing any untoward incident on or near the track
The following Intervention Vehicles present at any race circuit
1. The Fire Vehicle – From a modest pick-up to a mighty fire fighter
2. The Rescue Vehicle
3. The Logistics Vehicle
And
1. The Safety Car – to sanitise the track after an accident so as to bar movement of any participating car
2. The Medical Car
